There have been a number of such reports recently which suggest that there is a growing risk of such incidents, particularly on the High Streets or other shopping precincts around Thanet and particularly involving elderly or otherwise vulnerable people.

Please do all you can to spread the word and remind people of the need to protect their handbags or purses, not to leave them open to view in shopping trolleys and if carried, that they are held in front and under arm protection.
